if you regard error in God's WORD...
We are to take heed not to wrest with God’s WORD.
“As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things;
in which are some things hard to be understood,
which they that are unlearned and unstablewrest,
as they do also the other scriptures,
unto their own destruction.”

Great Post regarding Errors in Modern Bible Versions

please watch until the end - more shocking truths about the modern bible versions. NEB NRSV and the beast (as one of the MOST EVIL versions) and the making of the NKJV NIV NASB - "The Message" and the satanic formula "as above so below"; the occult book of Hermes exchanging the book of Revelation? mark of the beast "IN" the hand or "ON" the hand? do you see how serious this is?
mirrored copied & pasted:
"The Message - The emerging 'new' Christianty---with its substitution of riches for righteous, a crown for a cross, and an imitation for a new creation---is shown to be a direct result of the wording in the new versions.
Documented are the thousands of words, verses, and doctrines by which new versions will prepare the aspostate churches of these last days to accept the religion of the Antichrist--even his mark, image, and Lucifer worship.
The Men - Each page opens a door exposing new version editors--in agreement with Luciferians, occultists, and New Age philosophy--in mental institutions, seance parlors, prison cells, and court rooms for heresy trials--and most shocking of all--denying that salvation is through faith in Jesus Christ. Five have lost their ability to speak.
The Manuscripts - The Greek manuscripts, critical editions, lexicons and dictionaries behind the new versions are examined, revealing their occult origins, contents, and yet unreleased material--a blueprint for the Antichrist's One World Religion and government.
Presented also is the latest research proving the Authorized King James Version represents not only Christianity's earliest and most widely used Greek text, but is the easiest version to read according to computer analysis based formulas from the Flesch-Kincaid research firm.
Serious omissions in NIV and NKJV etc.

God interpreted[translated] His WORD because He allows many languages which are created by God Himself.
3 times in Bible with 'Translate'
2Samuel:3:10:
"To translate the kingdom from the house of Saul,
and to set up the throne of David over Israel and over Judah,
from Dan even to Beer-sheba."
Colossians:1:13:
"Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness,
and hath translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son:"
Hebrews:11:5:
"By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death;
and was not found,
because God had translated him:
for before his translation he had this testimony,
that he pleased God."
many times 'Interpreted'
in New Testament
[too many in Old Testament not included here]
Matthew:1:23:
"Behold, a virgin shall be with child,
and shall bring forth a son,
and they shall call His name
Emmanuel, which being interpreted is,
God with us."
Mark:5:41:
"And He took the damsel by the hand, and said unto her,
Talitha cumi; which is, being interpreted,
Damsel, I say unto thee, arise."
Mark:15:22:
"And they bring Him unto the place
Golgotha, which is, being interpreted,
The place of a skull."
Mark:15:34:
"And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice,
saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?
which is, being interpreted,
My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?"
John:1:38:
"Then Jesus turned, and saw them following,
and saith unto them, What seek ye?
They said unto Him,
Rabbi,
(which is to say, being interpreted, Master,)
where dwellest thou?"
John:1:41,42:
"He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found
the Messias, which is, being interpreted,
the Christ.
And he brought him to Jesus. And when Jesus beheld him,
He said, Thou art Simon the son of Jona:
thou shalt be called
Cephas, which is by interpretation, A stone."
John:9:7:
"And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of
Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.)
He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing."
Acts:4:36:
"And Joses, who by the apostles was surnamed
Barnabas,
(which is, being interpreted,
The son of consolation,)
a Levite, and of the country of Cyprus,"
Acts:9:36:
"Now there was at Joppa a certain disciple named
Tabitha,
which by interpretation is called Dorcas:
this woman was full of good works and almsdeeds which she did."
Acts:13:8:
"But
Elymas the sorcerer
(for so is his name by interpretation)
withstood them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith."
1Corinthians:12:10,30:
"To another the working of miracles;
to another prophecy;
to another discerning of spirits;
to another divers kinds of tongues;
to another the interpretation of tongues[languages]
:...
Have all the gifts of healing?
do all speak with tongues?
do all interpret?"
1Corinthians:14:5,13,26-28:
"I would that ye all spake with tongues,
but rather that ye prophesied:
for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues,
except he interpret,
that the church may receive edifying...
Wherefore let him that speaketh in an unknown tongue pray that he may interpret...
How is it then, brethren?
when ye come together,
every one of you hath a psalm,
hath a doctrine, hath a tongue,
hath a revelation, hath an interpretation.
Let all things be done unto edifying.
If any man speak in an unknown tongue,
let it be by two, or at the most by three,
and that by course; and let one interpret.
But if there be no interpreter,
let him keep silence in the church;
and let him speak to himself, and to God."
Hebrews:7:2:
"To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all;
first being by interpretation King of righteousness,
and after that also King of Salem,
which is, King of peace;"
2Peter:1:20:
"Knowing this first,
that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation."

So Did Jesus Speak Mostly in Greek
and Only Few times in Hebrew?
Acts 26:14
"And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks."
Matthew 27:46
"And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?
that is to say,
My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?"
Mark 15:34
"And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?
which is, being interpreted,
My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?"
Mark 7:11
"But ye say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, It is Corban, that is to say, a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; he shall be free."
Mark 5:41
"And He took the damsel by the hand,
and said unto her, Talitha cumi;
which is, being interpreted,
Damsel, I say unto thee, arise."
John 1:38
"Then Jesus turned, and saw them following,
and saith unto them, What seek ye?
They said unto Him, Rabbi,
(which is to say, being interpreted, Master,)
where dwellest thou?
John 1:41,42
"He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messias,
which is, being interpreted, the Christ.
And he brought him to Jesus.
And when Jesus beheld him, He said,
Thou art Simon the son of Jona:
thou shalt be called Cephas,
which is by interpretation, A stone."
John 9:7
"And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.)
He went his way therefore, and washed,
and came seeing."
Did Jesus Speak Greek to Pilate
or the other way round
Pilate Spake Hebrew to Jesus?
John 18:33-38
"Then Pilate entered into the judgment hall again, and called Jesus, and said unto Him,
Art thou the King of the Jews?
Jesus answered him,
Sayest thou this thing of thyself,
or did others tell it thee of me?
Pilate answered,
Am I a Jew?
Thine own nation and the chief priests
have delivered thee unto me:
what hast thou done?
Jesus answered,
My kingdom is not of this world:
if my kingdom were of this world,
then would my servants fight,
that I should not be delivered to the Jews:
but now is my kingdom not from hence.
Pilate therefore said unto Him,
Art thou a king then?
Jesus answered,
Thou sayest that I am a king.
To this end was I born,
and for this cause came I into the world,
that I should bear witness unto the truth.
Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.
Pilate saith unto Him,
What is truth?
And when he had said this,
he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them,
I find in Him no fault at all."
Pilate Can Write in Hebrew
John19:19-22
"And Pilate wrote a title, and put it on the cross.
And the writing was
Jesus Of Nazareth The King Of The Jews.
This title then read many of the Jews:
for the place where Jesus was crucified was nigh to the city:
and it was written in Hebrew, and Greek, and Latin.
Then said the chief priests of the Jews to Pilate, Write not,
The King of the Jews;
but that he said, I am King of the Jews.
Pilate answered,
What I have written I have written."

GOD HAS ALREADY GIVEN US HIS WORD THE BIBLE!
IT IS NOT HIDDEN! (in dead sea scrolls)
IT IS NOT FAR OFF!
IT IS NOT IN HEAVEN!
IT IS NOT BEYOND THE SEA!
IT IS NIGH UNTO YOU:
THE KING JAMES BIBLE!
Deuteronomy:30:11-14:
"For this commandment which I command thee this day,
it is not hidden from thee,
neither is it far off.
It is not in heaven,
that thou shouldest say,
Who shall go up for us to heaven,
and bring it unto us,
that we may hear it,
and do it?
Neither is it beyond the sea,
that thou shouldest say,
Who shall go over the sea for us,
and bring it unto us,
that we may hear it,
and do it?
But the word is very nigh unto thee,
in thy mouth,
and in thy heart,
that thou mayest do it."

The Fear of the LORD
is
Clean,
is the beginning of Wisdom,
is to hate evil
&
is a fountain of life.
“The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.” Psalm 19:9
“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.” Proverbs 9:10
“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: His praise endureth for ever.” Psalm 111:10
“And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.” Job 28:28

shall we do faithfully, and with a perfect heart.

the conclusion of the whole matter:
Fear God,

for this is the whole duty of man[woman inclusive].”

"RE: Chondra M: 03.04.13: You asked an excellent question!!"
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Chondra,
You had written:
http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/march2013/chondram34.htm
“Would God allow that to happen for hundreds of years, for His word to be mistranslated?
If we say a “prophet” of God has to be 100% correct, 100% of the time, why do we not demand this from our own (translated) Bible or is it already correct?”
That is an excellent question!!
Psalm 12:6 The words of the LORD are pure words:
as silver tried in a furnace of earth,
purified seven times.
7 Thou shalt keep them,
O LORD,
thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.
The LORD promised to preserve the words of the LORD for forever.
Psalm 119:89 For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.
The word of God is not going to change,
it is settled in heaven forever.
Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away,
but my words shall not pass away.
The LORD’s words shall not pass away.
I Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed,
but of incorruptible, by the word of God,
which liveth and abideth for ever.
24 For all flesh is as grass,
and all the glory of man as the flower of grass.
The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:
25 But the word of the Lord endureth for ever.
And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.
The word of God lives & abides forever, and His word endures forever.
Would the LORD keep the real deep things & nuggets of the of the word of God reserved only for those that know the ancient languages?
Do we always need to go to someone who knows ancient Hebrew & ancient Greek (not modern day Hebrew & Greek)?
Are we, who do not know the ancient languages, but simply have the scriptures and the Holy Ghost, at a disadvantage?
Are the scriptures themselves, and the indwelling Holy Ghost, insufficient to teach us fully?
It would seem to me that it would be more in character with the LORD to have it the other way around:
Luke 10:21 In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said,
I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth,
that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes:
even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.
That is why some of us are considered to be super-whacky, fringe-element, King-James-Only, nut-jobs.
Present company included.
If I will lose rewards at the judgment seat of Christ, because I believed that He perfectly,
preserved His word, and I have a copy of it:
well, at least I’ve trusted Him for every jot and tittle,
at least I believe that He has protected me from those who say, “Yea, hath God said?”
at least He has protected me from those who want to convince me not to trust the book 100.000%,
at least I believe it, even if I cannot debate the doctors of the law and the masters of the ancient languages,
my faith in that book didn’t come from education or from my ability to defend it,
that is why I absolutely do not mind being considered a King-James-Only nut-job by my brethren.
I once considered whether I wanted to remain someone who did not believe that the LORD had preserved His word perfectly,
or whether I would join the fringe-element,
and know that I held a copy of that perfect,
pure word of God in my hand.
If I was to believe that He preserved His word,
then where is it?
Is it buried?
Well, if the incarnate Word of God did not stay buried,
then why would the written word of God stay buried for centuries (i.e. in a cave by the Dead Sea)?
Is it only in heaven?
Deuteronomy 30:11 For this commandment which I command thee this day,
it is not hidden from thee,
neither is it far off.
12 It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say,
Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us,
that we may hear it, and do it?
13 Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say,
Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us,
that we may hear it, and do it?
14 But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth,
and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.
Then where is it?
Well I believe that it is here and I have a copy.
To some, it is a ludicrous to believe what I believe,
as believing that Jonah was swallowed by a whale,
or that the LORD created everything in six real days.
I believe the literal six days,
I believe the literal account about Jonah,
I believe that He preserved His word perfectly,
and that I have a copy.
It all boils down to a simple choice of believing it or not, not by having it proved or disproved.
So if I lose rewards for trusting the LORD to preserve His word,
then at least it has been joyous believing it.
Thank you,
Gino

Love KingJames English which is beautiful indeed.
yet shall i. or yet i shall.
the former [in humility] is harder to understand
whereas
the latter [in confidence] is easier to preach.
