for the Punishment
of Israel's sins(iniquity)

 God Punished Israel for 70years
and they did not yet hearken or repent
so 430-70=360years left

 "Speak unto all the people of the land, and to the priests, saying, When ye fasted and mourned in the fifth and seventh month, even those seventy years, did ye at all fast unto me, even to me?"
Zechariah 7:5

 SO GOD had to Punish ISRAEL 7 times...
= 7 x 360 years
= 2520years
"And if ye will not yet for all this hearken unto me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins." Leviticus:26:18

 GOD Punished ISRAEL
according to Israel's calendar,
 365.25 days per year
and not God's 360 days per year, 
note: 2520 x 365.25 days = 2558 x 360 days
It is interesting that in 1948 May 14th...
it is 2558 years from Northern Israel's captivity
which is 2520 years of present Hebrew Calendar
