but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit.“

Revelation:2:7:
“He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches;
To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life,
which is in the midst of the paradise of God.”

Revelation:22:2，14:
“In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river,
was there the tree of life,
which bare twelve manner of fruits,
and yielded her fruit every month:
and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations...
Blessed are they that do His commandments,
that they may have right to the tree of life,
and may enter in through the gates into the city.”

Lord Jesus' gave us 2+2 Commandments

1st 2 commandments of Lord Jesus are old ten commandments summarised into two commandments

Matthew:22:37-40: "Jesus said unto him,

Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.  

This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it,

Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself .

On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets."

Mark:12:29-31: "And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel;

The Lord our God is one Lord:  And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength :

this is the first commandment.  And the second is like, namely this,

Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these."

Romans 13:8-10: "Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.

For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely,
Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law."

New commandment of Lord Jesus is for All Christians to love one another !

Lord Jesus' "I Command You[both plural&singular inclusive]" That ye[you.plural] love one another; as I have loved you[both plural&singular inclusive], that ye[you.plural] also love one another.[Repeated! 3x]

John:13:34: "A new commandment I give unto you,

That ye love one another ; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another."

John:15:17: "These things I command you, that ye love one another."

Another commandment from Lord Jesus through Paul is for married Christians!

Lord Jesus' "I Command unto the married "Let not the wife depart from her husband"

1Corinthians:7:10: "And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord,

Let not the wife depart from her husband :"

Conditional ifs or 3 levels of conditions:-

1) if we love Lord Jesus, we keep His commandments.

John:14:15: "If ye love me, keep my commandments."

2) if we keep His commandments, we shall abide in Jesus' love and be loved of God the Father, and Jesus will love us, and will manifest Himself to us"

John:14:21: "He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him."

John:15:10: "If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in His love."

3) if we do whatsoever Lord Jesus' commanded, 
         we are His friends!

John:15:14: "Ye are my friends, 
      if ye do whatsoever I command you."

Interesting that the last sentence of John14 is about Rapture...

John:14:31: "But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise , let us go hence ."

Jesus also commanded all of us to watch for His return[2nd coming]!

Mark:13:34-37: "For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch. Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.  And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch."

More Exhortations to keep Lord Jesus our God's Commandments!

1John:2:3,4: "And hereby we do know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He that saith, I know Him, and keepeth not His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him."

1John:2:7,8: "Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning.  Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in Him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth.

1John:3:22-24: "And whatsoever we ask, we receive of Him, because we keep His commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in His sight. And this is His commandment, That we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as He gave us commandment.  And he that keepeth His commandments dwelleth in Him, and He in him. And hereby we know that He abideth in us, by the Spirit which He hath given us."

1John:4:21: "And this commandment have we from Him, That he who loveth God love his brother also."

1John:5:2,3: "By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep His commandments.  For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments: and His commandments are not grievous."

2John:1:4-6: "I rejoiced greatly that I found of thy children walking in truth, as we have received a commandment from the Father. And now I beseech thee, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment unto thee, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another.  And this is love, that we walk after His commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it."

Matthew:28:20: "Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen."
